About Us

Imayam Trust

NGO work is vital because it addresses critical social issues, empowers communities, and drives positive change where governments and markets fall short.

Imaya Trust has several programs to empower and uplift the women and farmers in their village. These programs collectively aim to uplift rural communities by focusing on agriculture, sustainability, financial empowerment, skill development, and environmental conservation. They address various aspects of rural life, from increasing agricultural productivity (through the Farmers' Day and FPO programs) to providing access to clean energy (through SHP training), promoting income diversification (via livelihood and palm leaf production programs), and fostering environmental responsibility (through tree planting initiatives). The goal is to create sustainable livelihoods, improve economic conditions, and empower rural communities through skill-building, financial inclusion, and sustainable agricultural practices. These programs also encourage community collaboration, fostering a sense of solidarity and mutual support among participants.
